]]>Lumina Geophysical announces that Marianne Rauch, Chief Operating Officer, will present at the 2026 3D Seismic Symposium, taking place March 5, 2026, in Denver, Colorado.
Her presentation, Enhancing Frequency Content of Onshore Seismic Data with Advanced Bandwidth Extension, will be delivered during Session IV at 3:25 PM at the Ellie Caulkins Studio Loft.
The presentation introduces an advanced bandwidth extension workflow applied to a Permian Basin 3D seismic dataset. The technique enhances the usable seismic frequency spectrum, enabling higher resolution imaging and geologically consistent inversion results without requiring wavelet extraction, well data, or starting models.
By extending both low and high frequency content, the workflow improves vertical resolution and supports more reliable subsurface characterization, helping geoscientists better resolve stratigraphic detail in onshore seismic datasets.
The 3D Seismic Symposium brings together geophysical professionals and industry experts to discuss the latest developments in seismic processing, imaging, and interpretation technologies. Lumina Geophysical is also proud to support this year’s symposium as a sponsor, reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to advancing geophysical technologies and contributing to technical dialogue within the industry.
